Wild Horses Don't Wear Shoes
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16)
"Equipped" in this portion of scripture means "to mend as in a net; to wrap a bone; to set, to restore to a proper position and a stable state; made fit or prepared fully; correcting all that is deficient."
As we gain understanding and insight from the teachings of Pastor Fred Gillenwater, we are "equipped" for every good work and move into a position where we can fulfill God's plan and purpose for our lives.
Horseshoes are only used for the working horse. They provide protection against cracking and bruising. They also correct foot problems. For a pulling horse they gain more traction when they are shod. They in essence "equip" the horse for work. A wild horse on the other hand is never shod. If the hoof becomes too long, the wild horse knows it is time to move to new ground. As they travel to another area, they wear their feet down on the abrasive earth. The wild horses are never used for work. They have no need to be "equipped" for work because they are always moving around. It is only when a horse is commissioned for work that he has need to be shod. The Lord Jesus Christ has commissioned us for work. The teachings of Pastor Fred Gillenwater in these tapes and CD's "equip" us for that work.
The Vision of "Equipped" Tapes & CD's is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through the use of cassette tapes and CD's. To use the anointing and truth of God's Word, as revealed by Pastor Fred Gillenwater to disciple, equip, and teach the believer, at the same time using the anointing and truth of God's Word to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, and to set at liberty those who are oppressed.
The Mission of "Equipped" Tapes & CD's is to make the good news of the gospel available to the lost through tapes and CD's, and to "equip" the believer for God's work, plan and purpose for their lives.
